In 1905
17 year-old Lithuanian David Stein arrived in New York. With little money and big hopes, David entered the plumbing trade. A dozen years later, David took his skills and expertise to Waterbury, Connecticut, opening a successful plumbing contracting business and an even more successful wholesale business, the Brass City Plumbing Supply Company. The company relocated to Torrington in 1920, becoming Torrington Supply, and finally settled in Waterbury. The name and reputation for quality products and service soon became the gold standard for the industry.
David Stein imbued his company, his family, and his employees with an understanding that quality products, industry knowledge, and exceptional service go hand-in-hand. A century later, and still family owned and run, Torrington Supply and Luxury Bath Center proudly continue that tradition of quality products and uncompromised service.
